I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a fortune teller before or have thought about going to one, but I have and let me tell you, there are some that get things so right it’s spooky and then others who just give general readings that could be meant for anyone. So, suffice it to say that I really didn’t know what to believe when I went to a fortune teller to find out what was in my future.

I recently found this really cool site though called Hoax.com that had a whole section on psychics and other fortune tellers, about some of the tricks they use to make you believe some of the made up stuff they are telling you. I’m not going to go so far as to say that all fortune tellers are fakes because some of the stuff I got in my readings did come true and no one could really have known some of the stuff that fortune teller knew about me unless they really knew me, you know?

So anyways, another thing that I really like about Hoax.com though is that there are other people who have the same kind of questions as me and there is a section on there with all kinds of interesting discussions going on not only about fortune tellers but what people read and hear on the internet and don’t know if they should believe it or not. I spent a lot of time just reading those questions and can’t wait to hear what everyone has to say about some of the stuff. Like, if Microsoft really is paying money to people to send e-mails around the internet or if you really can make a lot of money working for Google.

You know the old saying, “if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true,” well, I want to believe that at least some things are just really true, so a site like Hoax.com helps me keep my thinking in check, cause I have to tell you, I can be just as gullible as the next person most of the time.

Anyways, if you get a chance, it’s worth it to check out Hoax.com, especially if you are thinking about getting your fortune told because it can tell you what kinds of things to look for so you can ask ahead of time instead of throwing your money out the window.
